Some people believe that social media can provide people with reliable information and news. Others, however, disagree with this view. Consider both ways, also provide your personal view.

Now, the amount of material evidence users is growing steadily compared to previous years. Therefore, there is debate among people, whether social media portals are reliable for providing accurate information or not. From my point of view, I firmly believe that news received on internet platforms can be relevant for people because of its outstanding repercussions.

Admittedly, there are some drawbacks of social media. Considering, more people start to use social media accounts over the years; this may bring more negative aspects with itself. For example, recently, several fake news has been shared by the official pages of some companies on Facebook and Instagram about the treatment of coronavirus with some medicines, which are supposed to have 100 % effect. While the companies had intended only for an advertisement for their goods, these rumours caused panic among people, who started to search for these medicines in pharmacies. As a result, people became more stressed when they perceive the quality of products is efficient against coronavirus at all.

On the other hand, news shared in social media has been more attractive to people as being its reliable source compared to TV and newspapers. Linked to the first example above, as the increase of social media users, some companies and amateur pages started to share news on their accounts.
Namely, while some local TV channel and newspaper try to hide the real-based negative news, social media enlighten the root of communication in a detailed form for the reference of readers. Thus, people can easily be aware of the reality of daily basis news, while they are not informed about dark sides by various sources.

In conclusion, the reliability and efficiency of news shared in social media is more remarkable as its better off impact compared as well as being suitable for the requirements of modern life.
