Nowadays, the vast majority of children spend their spare time with the same age group of adolescents. I believe that the advantages of free time spent with peers outweigh its drawbacks for two main reasons.

Admittedly, juveniles should be engaged in several self-development activities rather than entertaining together. If peers isolate themselves from society by spending less free time for chilling, they may develop core required life skills those play a fundamental role for career development. A case in point, a comprehensive analysis of ten years continuing research co-operated by Cambridge University scientists revealed that the adolescents who spent more time in childhood for the improvement of life skills have better reputations for career statistics, meaning that having better living conditions and a high salary in future.

At some other game, I think that spending leisure time among peers should contribute to children's outlook development, which is known as the key to success. Namely, if the same age group of children spend their leisure time by exchanging ideas or discussing hot topics, they should enrich their awareness about global challenges which causes devastating effects in the world. For example, during Elon Musk's school years, he was inspired by debates among his friends, which was the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions and exhausted fumes by replacing renewable energy technologies. Secondly, while children are not spending their free time with older people, their perceptual abilities can be formed on the basis of today's hot topics. In short, it would be more beneficial to spend time together with peers compared to a different age range group of people.

To conclude, while leisure time could be spent on the self-development, having a consistent interaction between peers promises better opportunities to succeed in life. This essay clearly explained how the time spent among the same age group of children should be more productive and how its advantages outweigh its drawbacks.
